UROP and Internships

Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program

The lab often seeks undergraduate research students to join our team for a semester or longer. MIT’s Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program is a unique way for undergraduates to gain experience in research while earning credit or pay. For more information about the program, and to view open UROP position listings and important deadlines, please review the UROP website before contacting the lab.

If you are a current MIT or Wellesley College student interested in UROP positions in one of the following research areas, please send your materials (letter/CV) to Pawan Sinha, indicating whether you are seeking position for credit or pay (or either).

Summer Internships

For current MIT students interested in a summer internship opportunity, you may be eligible for a summer UROP. The lab also accepts a limited number of summer interns at the high school and university levels to be involved in ongoing research projects. All interested applicants should send a letter and CV to Pawan Sinha and if mentioned in a current UROP posting, please Cc other contact person(s).

Contact Information

If you are interested in a current position advertised through one of the systems above (MIT Careers, Graduate Studies, or UROP), please apply directly through the appropriate portal. For general inquiries, please contact Pawan Sinha
